A substrate for a magnetic disk having minute semi-spherical raised portions formed over the entire surface by a non-electrolytic plating process, an electrolytic plating process or plating nuclei containing palladium, gold, silver, or copper. The substrate is obtained by comprising steps of forming a Ni-P intermediate layer by Ni-P plating on an aluminum substrate, finishing the Ni-P intermediate layer, dipping the substrate in a plating solution to effect palladium plating to form a Pd plating layer and forming a Ni-P plating layer to form minute semi-spherical raised portions over an entire surface of the Pd plating layer.
Divulgation d'un substrat pour disque magnétique comportant de minuscules parties semi-sphériques, surélevées, formées sur toute sa surface grâce à un procédé de placage non électrolytique, un procédé de placage électrolytique ou un noyau de placage contenant du palladium, de l'or, de l'argent ou du cuivre. Ce substrat est obtenu grâce à un procédé comportant les étapes suivantes : la formation d'une couche intermédiaire Ni-P par placage Ni-P sur un substrat en aluminium; la finition de la couche intermédiaire Ni-P; le trempage du substrat dans une solution de placage au palladium, afin de former une couche de placage en palladium; et la formation d'une couche de placage Ni-P afin de former de minuscules parties semi-sphériques, surélevées sur toute la surface de la couche de placage en Pd.
