A system displays a collection of stationary images as a motion picture to passengers travelling in a vehicle along a pathway. The images, placed in parallel along the walls of the pathway of the vehicle, are adapted in number, size, and spacing for a vehicle travelling at the known speed and at the known distance from images on one or both sides of the vehicle such as to maintain an approximately constant viewing rate and perceived size of the images. A speed sensor monitors speed of the vehicle to determine the appropriate cycling rate of the images. The images themselves can be cycled intermittently with a blank image while remaining steadily illuminated.
La présente invention concerne un système qui sert à afficher un ensemble d'images fixes sous la forme d'une projection animée pour des passagers se déplaçant dans un véhicule le long d'une voie. Les images, placées en parallèle le long des parois de la voie du véhicule, sont adaptées en ce qui concerne leur nombre, taille et espacement, pour un véhicule se déplaçant à la vitesse connue et à la distance connue par rapport aux images sur l'un ou les deux côtés du véhicule de façon à maintenir un débit de visualisation approximativement constant et une taille perçue des images approximativement constante. Un capteur de vitesse surveille la vitesse du véhicule pour déterminer la vitesse de cycle appropriée des images. Les images elles-mêmes peuvent être affichées de façon cyclique par intermittence avec une image vide tout en restant constamment éclairées.
