ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The hair clipper comprises a hand-carriable casing having an outlet adapted to be connected to a vacuum source, such as a domestic vacuum cleaner; an intake adapted to be applied to the scalp to draw the hair into the casing; a hair-cutting assembly located across said intake and including co-acting, fixed and reciprocable sets of cutting teeth. An air turbine within the casing drives the reciprocating set of teeth. An adjustable spacer assembly is carried by the casing around the clipper and adapted to engage the scalp to maintain the clipper at an adjustable distance and angle from the scalp during hair cutting. A hair trimmer is also operated by the turbine but only in advanced position.
