ABSTRACT Suction-type sheet-separating apparatus for a feeder of a printing press A suction-type sheet-separating apparatus is proposed for a feeder of a printing press, in which, when the suction-type grippers are inclined in or opposite to the sheet-running direction, the suvtion-type sheet- separating apparatus doer not exert any disturbing influence on the further transport of a sheet that has been lifted off a pile of sheets, with it being possible, while the printing press is in operation, for the inclination of the suction-type grippers to be changed without any major effort on the part of the operator. For this purpose, a carrying shaft for the suction-type grippers, which are aligned with respect to the tatter, is swivellably held in a lifting gear drive for the carrying shaft and is rotationally rigidly connected to a link of a swivelling apparatus for selectable swivel positions, said link being guided basically parallel to itself in the selectable swivel positions (Fig. 1). Adjusting means are provided for setting the swivel positions, said adjusting means being activated, in a further embodiment of the invention, by a scanning apparatus for the surface of a curved edge of the pile of sheets. . .
