ABSTRACT There is provided a suitcase which can be shipped in dismantled condition and assembled by the customer, thereby saving shipping costs. The suitcase has a flat top and bottom plates that are held in grooves in the front, back and sides of the case. The front and back are made of profiled strips. The side walls are made by casting or molding and include corners of the case that are adapted to receive both the plates and the ends of the front and back profiles.
