A chromium VI reducing composition comprising particles of solid material selected from the group consisting of iron (II) sulfate and tin sulfate, the particles being substantially uniformly dispersed within a liquid carrier. Methods for modifying hydratable cementitious materials using the chromium reducing composition are also disclosed and provide advantages over dry powder or dissolved forms of sulfate compositions when used in cement manufacturing.
La présente invention concerne une composition réductrice de chrome VI comprenant des particules de matière solide sélectionnée dans le groupe constitué de sulfate de fer (II) et de sulfate d'étain, des particules étant sensiblement uniformément dispersées dans un liquide porteur. La présente invention concerne aussi des procédés de modification de matériaux cimenteux hydratables utilisant cette composition réductrice de chrome et offre des avantages comparée aux poudres sèches ou aux formes dissoutes des compositions sulfate quand elle est utilisée dans la fabrication du ciment.
