ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Provided as novel compositions are sulfolanyl- oxyalkylheptaalkylcyclotetrasiloxanes. The cyclic poly- siloxanes of the invention are especially useful as monomers for the formation of higher molecular weight polymers com- prising difunctional dialkylsiloxy units in combination with difunctional sulfolanyloxyalkylmonoalkylsiloxy units.
