ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Sulfonyl-containing fluorocarbon viny ethers are disclosed of the formula Image and Image where m is an integer from 2 to 5 and is an integer from 2 to 10. The sulfonyl-containing fluorocarbon vinyl ethers are prepared by monoaddition of sulfuryl fluoride to divinyl ethers in the presence of fluoride ions with the formed ethers useful in preparation of ion exchange polymers.
