ABSTRACT This invention relates to sulphonamide/potentiator solutions. These solutions show neutral reaction and are stable. The solutions must be water containing or dilutable with water so that they can, if desired, be added to aqueous infusion carrier solutions. The solution comprises water and is dilutable with an aqueous carrier solution and contains approximately 5 to 10 % by weight of the active ingredient combined with an active ingredient ratio of sulphonamide to potentiator of approximately 4 to 6 : 1 and wherein the active ingredients are dissolved in glycerol formal accompanied by the addition, in each case based on the amount of glycerol formal, of at least one solubiliser selected from the group comprising 20 to 50% by weight of ethanol, 4 to 10% by weight of polyvinyl-pyrrolidone, 4 to 10% by weight of a neutral mixture of an alkali metal or amine salt of a mono- or polybasic organic oxyacid with the free acid, or an alkanol-amine until a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 is reached.
