ABSTRACT Aliphatic polyamides are reacted on their surfaces with sulphuryl chloride, either neat or in solution in paraffins or cycloparaffins to give reactive intermediates which may convert into a support capable of reaction with antibodies or enzymes by providing covalent chemical links to which the antibodies or enzymes may be bound.
