- 5 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a new sun catcher which comprises a plastic mold having a predetermined pattern and a hanging hole. The predetermined pattern has a frame with a plurality of cavities formed of the plastic mold which are filled with colorful plastic material to form an ornamental sun catcher. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the sun catcher which comprises the following steps: preparing a plastic mold which has a predetermined pattern molded thereon, printing colorful dye in the frame of the predetermined pattern; and filling the cavities with colorful plastic material. The process reduces the manufacturing cost and loss rate in manufacturing.
