A sunscreen cosmetic composition is provided which is a water and emollient oil emulsion containing an inorganic sunscreen agent such as titanium dioxide with a relatively large particle size ranging from about 0.1 to 20 micron and an organic sunscreen agent. High levels of sunscreen activity are achievable without any significant adverse effect on emulsion aesthetics.
L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique antisolaire sous forme d'émulsion eau/huile émolliente, renfermant un agent antisolaire inorganique du type dioxyde de titane dont les particules ont une taille relativement importante allant d'environ 0,1 micron à 20 microns et un agent antisolaire organique. On peut ainsi obtenir une activité antisolaire prononcée sans effets préjudiciables pour l'esthétique à l'émulsion.
