A sunshade for use on a cap with a visor includes a thin, tinted, resilient plastic sheet which is attached to the underside of the visor by means of a crescent-shaped clip. The sheet has an elongated minor section and an elongated major section with a seam or crease dividing the two segments. The major section can be flipped downwardly to protect the eyes of a wearer from the sun's rays. The seam or crease acts as a hinge between the minor and major sections.
