An electrode assembly (38) is provided. The assembly (38) includes a chargeable electrode (40) configured to adsorb oppositely charged ions, where the electrode (48) comprises a porous material. The assembly (38) further includes an ion exchange material (44,52) in contact with the porous material of the chargeable electrode (40, 48), where the ion exchange material (44, 52) is similarly charged as the chargeable electrode (40, 48), and where the ion exchange material (44, 52) is permeable to the oppositely charged ions and at least partially impermeable to the similarly charged ions.

L'invention concerne un ensemble d'électrode. L'ensemble comprend une électrode chargeable configurée pour adsorber des ions chargés de manière opposée, l'électrode comprenant un matériau poreux.
