A superconducting device which has an oxide superconducting wire material, wherein the oxide superconducting material in the oxide superconducting wire material has a sintered density of 93 % or more, preferably 95 % or more, more preferably 99 % or more. The superconducting device allows the inhibition of the occurrence of ballooning, even when its temperature is elevated without control.

L'invention concerne un dispositif supraconducteur comportant un fil supraconducteur, le matériau d'oxyde supraconducteur du fil d'oxyde supraconducteur présentant une densité de frittage supérieure à 93 %, de préférence supérieure à 95 %, de préférence supérieure à 99 %. Ledit dispositif supraconducteur permet d'éliminer le ballonnement même lorsque sa température augmente de façon incontrôlée.
