ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A supercritical separation process is proposed for polymers, utilizing mixed solvents. Such a process can be used to remove light end, or heavy end, or generate bulk fractions of low polydispersity. Three modes of operation are proposed: increasing solvent capacity, decreasing solvent capacity, and single-vessel multistage separation.
