Provided are a crystal of suplatast tosilate of formula: (see above formula) Showing characteristic peaks in powder X-ray diffraction at diffraction angles (20 ~ 0.1°) of 5.6°, 9.0°, 11.0°, 15.3°, 16.5°, 17.2°, 17.9°, 19.2°, 19.9° and 21.5°; and a preparation process of the crystal. Owing to merits such as a fluctuation-free optically active substance ratio, low hygroscopicity and high storage stability, the suplatast tosilate crystal of the present invention can be mass produced easily and at the same time, is advantageous in drug preparation or quality management. It is thus excellent as a raw material for pharmaceuticals.

L'invention concerne des cristaux de tosilate de suplatast présentant des pointes caractéristiques à différents angles de diffraction (2 theta +/- 0,1 DEG ) de 5,6 DEG , 9,0 DEG , 11,0 DEG , 15,3 DEG , 16,5 DEG , 17,2 DEG , 17,9 DEG , 19,2 DEG et 21,5 DEG en diffractométrie des rayons X sur poudres. La présente invention porte également sur un procédé pour produire ces cristaux. Offrant des avantages tels qu'une absence de décalage dans le rapport isomère optiquement actif, une moindre hygroscopie et une stabilité au stockage élevée, ces cristaux de tosilate de suplatast se prêtent particulièrement à la production de masse, à la formulation dans certaines préparations et au contrôle de la qualité, ce qui en fait d'excellentes substances médicinales.
