Abstract of Disclosure A supply apparatus for the enrichment of aquarium water with CO2 is described. In order to increase the diffusion surface, several containers which are open at their bases are arranged above one another along a gas inlet pipe, the whole being assembled substantially vertically. The CO2 gas intro- duced into the bottom container displaces the water, and subsequently fills the above described containers in a cascade in a type of pneumatic tank. The thus increased contact surface of CO2/water results in rapid adjustment to the desired higher CO2 concentration.
