A supply line for an electric vehicle, wherein a hollow insulating casing, extending in one direction, carries in its upper portion a plurality of plates, aligned in the direction of the electric vehicle's progression and separated by means of insulating members, inserted between adjacent collector plates. Casing houses a ribbon-like conductor member, extending in the direction of the vehicle's progression, capable of being elastically deformed and fitted with a ribbon-like portion of ferromagnetic material. Ribbon-like conductive member is capable of being drawn by the magnetic field generated by electromagnets, carried by electric vehicle, to cause a portion of ribbon-like member to inflect towards plates, and at least one plate to be connected with a supply line, carried inside the casing. Electric vehicle is further fitted with at least one end instrument, capable of coupling with live plate, to supply a polarity of the vehicle's power supply.
