TITLE: SUPPLY SHIP TRANSFER SYSTEM INVENTOR: RONALD BALLANTYNE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A modular supply ship transfer system is described. The system is adapted to convert an existing container ship or a vessel whose deck has been fitted with appropriate attachment fittings. The components of the transfer system such as a mast, highline cable, highline winch, ram tensioner, inhaul/outhaul line, inhaul/outhaul winches and the like are mounted in the multiplicity of containers. The containers are fitted with complementary attachment fittings whereby the containers may be secured to the deck of the container ship or appropriately equipped vessel. The components are so arranged in the containers that upon securement of the containers to the deck the components are oriented in sub- stantially operating relationship.
