SUPPORT AND GUIDE FOR A TRACK OF A TRACK-LAYING VEHICLE Abstract of the Disclosure A frame for supporting a track of a track-laying vehicle includes a pair of lower longitudinally extending members having surfaces disposed to prevent sideways movement of the track and for supporting the track shoes in the event that the track be- gins to twist from working loads imposed thereon. Each of the lower longitudinally extending members include a horizontal section joined to a vertical section having an upper end disposed in overlapping relationship to a lower end of a vertical wall of an upper part of the frame. A plurality of tabs are welded to the vertical sections and extend beneath the lower end of the vertical wall portion and beneath a longitudinal bar welded to the vertical wall portion in overlapping relationship to the lower end thereof. The tabs are bolted to the longitudinal bar.
