This invention concerns a support bearing (10) with a working chamber (11) and a compensation chamber (12), connected by a suppression channel whose opening (14) can be opened and closed by means of a stopper (15). Until now, great force has been needed to keep the suppression channel opened (14) and closed with the stopper (15) at peak pressure. The purpose of this invention is to significantly reduce the force with which the stopper (15) must be pressed against the suppression channel opening (14) at peak pressure. With the support bearing (10) in this invention, the stopper (15) can press against the suppression channel opening (14) from the working chamber (11).
