A support body (7) for an apparatus having an extended nip (N) between a contact surface (13) and an opposed surface (4), the support body having two facing side surfaces (69, 70) connected to the contact surface, and a bottom surface (71) facing away from the contact surface, the support body being moveable towards the opposite surface by a loading system to load the nip via the contact surface. The support body is elastically deformable and has its contact surface interacting with the opposite surface. The invention also relates to a holding device and a method of forming the extended nip in said apparatus by loading the support body by means of the loading system, controlling the load in the extended nip by providing the support body with at least two layers with different elasticity providing a corresponding load profile.
L'invention concerne un corps (7) d'appui destiné à un appareil présentant une ligne de pincement (n) prolongée, définie par la surface (13) de contact entre le corps d'appui et une surface opposée (4). Ce corps d'appui comprend deux surfaces latérales (69, 70) opposées l'une à l'autre, joignant la surface de contact, et une surface inférieure (71) opposée à la surface de contact. Ce corps est conçu pour être déplacé en direction de la surface opposée au moyen d'un système de charge servant à appliquer une charge sur la ligne de pincement par l'intermédiaire de la surface de contact. Le corps d'appui décrit peut subir une déformation élastique, et présente une surface de contact qui s'adapte à la surface opposée par interaction avec cette dernière. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de support destiné à un tel corps d'appui, et un appareil, p. ex. une presse, destiné au traitement d'une bande fibreuse, cet appareil étant équipé d'un tel corps d'appui. L'invention porte en outre sur un procédé permettant de former une ligne de pincement prolongée dans ledit appareil, par fixation du corps d'appui au moyen d'un système de montage, ainsi qu'un procédé qui permet de réguler la charge dans la surface de pincement prolongée, et consiste à créer un corps d'appui comprenant au moins deux couches présentant une élasticité différente, définissant un profil de chargement correspondant.
