ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A support bracket is described for use with a venetian blind headrail which is of generally channel-shaped cross-section, formed of a lower web and front and rear flanges, and having an inturned rim at the upper free edges of the front and rear flanges. The bracket includes a rear wall and a bottom wall connected to and extending forwardly from the rear wall. The bottom wall is capable of supporting the weight of the headrail thereon when in use and has a front end remote from the rear wall. A top wall is connected to and extends forwardly from the rear wall in spaced relation to the bottom wall so as to overlie a portion of the headrail when the latter is supported on the bottom wall. The top wall also has a front end remote from the rear wall. An integral hook member is located at the front end of the top wall. The hook member is engageable in the rim of the front flange of the headrail when the latter is supported on the bottom wall. A stationary integrally formed projection extends downwardly from the top wall in spaced relation to the rear wall and is positioned to lie immediately in front of the rim of the rear flange of the headrail. Its function is to prevent forward movement of the headrail when the latter is in position on the bracket for support by said bottom wall. The rear surface of the projection is located rearwardly of the front end of the bottom wall.
