A support device is disclosed for supporting a disposable absorbent article, such as a sanitary napkin next to a wearer's body. The support device includes a stationary member that extends along a portion of a wearer's crotch region and a non-absorbent moveable member adjustably affixed to the stationary member. The stationary member can have an elastomeric portion for biasing the supported absorbent article toward the wearer during use.
