ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A support member or bridge member used for holding a repair material injector in proper position relative to a piece of glass that is to be repaired, such as a windshield, and which holds the injector under a predetermined spring load even when there is a rounded or curved surface to be repaired. The support is self orienting relative to the windshield so that the injector used for injecting repair materials is held normal to the tangent plane at the opening of a break that is to be repaired in the windshield.
