An improved support for use by a pregnant woman to achieve greater comfort while resting or sleeping in a prone position. The support comprises two pillows connected together by a piece of stretchable fabric. The pillows are shaped to provide greater comfort to the woman, especially over long periods of time, compared to prior designs that employ rounded pillows. Different types of foam are used for the two pillows to tailor the degree of support for the part of the woman's body that is being supported by each pillow. The stretchable fabric enables the support to adapt to the growth of the woman during pregnancy (particularly late term pregnancy). The support may be assembled into a compact, attractive unit for storage.
La présente invention concerne un support amélioré à utiliser par une femme enceinte pour parvenir à un plus grand confort lors du repos ou du sommeil dans une position couchée. Le support comprend deux coussins raccordés ensemble par un élément de tissu étirable. Les coussins sont formés pour conférer un plus grand confort à la femme, spécialement sur de longues périodes, en comparaison aux conceptions antérieures qui emploient des coussins arrondis. Des types différents de mousses sont utilisés pour les deux coussins pour s'adapter spécialement au degré de support de la partie du corps de la femme qui est supportée par chaque coussin. Le tissu étirable permet au support de s'adapter à la croissance de la femme pendant la grossesse (en particulier en fin de grossesse). Le support peut être assemblé selon une unité compacte et attractive pour stockage.
