A support structure for bed bases (11), comprising a plurality of elastic slats (1), bars or strips positioned transversely to the bed frame (12) and connected to it via slat-carrying rocker joints (6), and a plurality of hydraulic jacks (2) positioned at least in a central region of the bed base (11) and connecting the rocker joints (6) to the frame (12). The hydraulic jacks (2) are connected together longitudinally to form a hydraulic circuit (3) operating on the basis of communicating vessels. By utilizing the phenomenon of pressure equalization, the pistons (15, 30) of the jacks (2) react to the pressures exerted by the body distended on the bed base (11), to compensate the hollowing created by the heavier parts of the body, i.e. those situated between the shoulder and pelvis, with an upward thrust for supporting the lighter parts, i.e. the back and kidneys.
La présente invention concerne une structure de support pour bases (11) de lit comprenant une pluralité de lattes (1), de barres ou de bandes élastiques placées transversalement par rapport au cadre (12) de lit et reliées audit lit par l'intermédiaire d'articulations oscillantes portant les lattes et une pluralité de vérins hydrauliques (2) placés au moins dans une partie centrale de la base (11) de lit et reliant les articulations oscillantes (6) au cadre (12). Les vérins hydrauliques (2) sont reliés longitudinalement de façon à former un circuit hydraulique (3) fonctionnant sur la base de récipients communiquants. En utilisant ce phénomène d'égalisation de pression, les pistons (15, 30) des vérins (2) réagissent aux pressions exercées par le corps étendu sur la base (11) de lit, de façon à compenser le creux créé par les parties les plus lourdes du corps, par exemple, celles situées entre l'épaule et le bassin, par une poussée ascendante permettant de soutenir les parties les plus légères, par exemple, le dos et les reins.
