The present invention relates to supported catalyst composition for an addition polymerization, a process to prepare the same and the use thereof in an addition polymerization, wherein the composition comprises: (A) a particulated, solid support material; (B) an activator which is an ammonium salt of a compatible, noncoordinating anion, A-, said anion, A- containing a remnant formed by reaction of a non-ionic Lewis acid and a moiety containing an active hydrogen; and (C) a Group 4 metal complex catalyst.
L'invention concerne une composition de catalyseurs sur support destinée à une polymérisation par addition, un procédé de préparation de celle-ci, ainsi que l'utilisation de celle-ci dans une polymérisation par addition. Cette composition comprend: (A) un matériau support solide particulaire; (B) un activant qui est un sel d'ammonium d'un anion compatible et non-coordinant, A?-¿, ledit anion, A?-¿ renfermant un reste formé par réaction d'un acide de Lewis non-ionique et une fraction comprenant un hydrogène actif; et (C) un catalyseur complexe de métal du groupe 4.
