A supported cobalt-based catalyst, comprising a catalytically active phase and a carrier, characterized in that the carrier has an average particle diameter, measured by means of a Coulter counter, ranging from 120 to 180 µm, a surface area higher than 175 m2/g and a pore volume higher than 0.35 cm3/g, measured with the B.E.T. method, the active phase consisting of > 80% of cobalt. The above catalyst is particularly useful in the Fischer-Tropsch reaction.
Catalyseur supporté au cobalt, comprenant une phase catalytiquement active et un support, caractérisé en ce que le support présente un diamètre moyen de particule, mesurée à l'aide d'un compteur Coulter, variant entre 120 et 180 µm, une aire de surface supérieure à 175 m2/g et un volume de pores supérieur à 0,35 cm3/g, mesuré selon la méthode B.E.T., la phase active étant constitué de > 80% de cobalt. Le catalyseur susmentionné est particulièrement utile dans la réaction Fischer-Tropsch.
