Novel oxidation catalysts of functional organic compounds consisting of synthetic metalloporphyrins fixed on a substrate. These novel catalysts involve the use of polymer-type substrates which are insoluble in the liquid phase comprising nitrogenated groups used as the metalloporphyrin metal Lewis base fixed by covalent bond.
