ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: In a supporting and guiding means for continuously cast strands including a plurality of exchangeable supporting elements each provided with rollers at opposite sides thereof, neighbouring supporting elements are provided with shoulder-like projections where they are separated from each other, the projections being oppositely arranged, backing each other, and carrying one roller each to complement each other to form a pair of oppositely arranged rollers.
