ABSTRACT There is provided a support for a vehicle distress signalling balloon or the like, which balloon can be inflated by a vehicle driver and the support secured to the top of the driver side window. The balloon is brightly coloured and displays a symbol such as SOS. The support includes a plastic arm having an inverted U-shaped portion which fits over the top of the window. The arm extends outwardly from the window and terminates in a sleeve-shaped portion providing an aperture which receives the stem of a funnel-shaped balloon holder.
