ABSTRACT A supporting element for installation in continuous cavities through portions of meat such as poultry is characterized by a tip section of reduced diameter to pass through, fill and/or maintain the continuous cavity in portions of meat or in frozen meat. The supporting element may be formed as a hollow body of largely conical configuration. It may have an opening at the lower end and supports that are arranged at intervals from each other forming an airway in the tip section.
