A supporting structure is provided for a lock including a latch assembly, an inside rose with at least one positioning rod, and an outside rose with two positioning tubes. The supporting structure includes an inside rose liner having four first holes that are angularly spaced by 90°. The positioning tubes and the positioning rod are selectively extended through the four first holes. A first annular wall protrudes from a first side of the inside rose liner and defines a first end face on the first side of the inside rose liner outside the first annular wall. Two protrusions are formed on a second side of the inside rose liner. An inner elastic member is mounted to the second side of the inside rose liner and includes two ends that are attached to the protrusions, respectively. The inner elastic member further includes two bends each of which is extended beyond the inside rose liner via an associated slot in the inside rose liner. The supporting structure further includes an outside rose liner having a second annular wall protruded from a first side thereof. A second end face is defined on the first side of the outside rose liner outside the second annular wall. The second annular wall includes a transverse opening through which the latch assembly is extended. The outside rose liner further includes four second holes defined in an area surrounded by the second annular wall. The four second holes are aligned with the four first holes, respectively. An outer elastic member is mounted to the second side of the outside rose liner and includes two bends. Each bend of the outer elastic member is extended beyond the outside rose line via an associated notch of the outside rose liner.
