The present invention is concerned with a supportive post structure. The structure comprises an elongated post for installation in a substantially vertical attitude, and at least one elongated supportive branch for mounting transversally to said post, said branch comprising a proximal helicoidal post engaging portion for enabling mounting of said branch with the helicoidal portion thereof twisted about and frictionally engaging said post, a centre elongated spacing segment and a distal load hanging means, the overall length of said centre elongated spacing segment being at least twice a pitch of said helicoidal post engaging portion. The invention further contemplates a branch comprising a helicoidal post engaging portion for mounting on a substantially vertical post, whereby said branch can be mounted by frictional engagement at any position on the post or removed therefrom through a simple substantially lateral movement, without tools or fasteners.
