"SUPPORTS FOR FOURDRINIER SECTIONS OF PAPER MAKING MACHINES AND A METHOD OF REPLACING SAME" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Elongated ceramic coated steel rods are slotted into grooves formed across the top of the support so that they extend just above the surface and support the fourdriner wire or fabric as it passes thereover. If damage or wear occurs to one of the rods it can be rotated slightly within its groove to present a new surface uppermost. If necessary any one of the rods can be replaced by a new rod without shut- ting down the paper making machinery by pushing the old rod out of its groove by engaging the replacement rod at one end of the old rod.
