SUPPRESSION OF ELECTROENDOSMOSIS IN CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Spontaneous and undesired electroendosmosis in a capillary during an electrophoretic separation procedure is suppressed by the inclusion of a viscosity-raising additive in one or both of the electrode chamber solutions.
