A human-powered water vehicle characterized by a propulsion and steering system that is adaptable to several types of craft, such as canoes, rowboats and, more specifically, sailboards. This equipment makes it possible to convert sailboards into water bicycles or pedal boats. The steering system is made up of a bicycle handlebar connected to a stem which is mounted on a tube which goes through the board and turns a fin directly underneath the board. The propulsion system consists of an independent structure which holds the mechanical components, seat and crankset in place. This system can be attached to a sailboard with straps or mechanical fasteners. The propulsion system is characterized by a spur gear mounted directly onto the crankset spindle which drives a flexible shaft that turns a propeller located at the back of the board. A steering system that uses cables or other mechanisms to turn the propeller directly on a vertical axis allows for maximum manoeuvrability.

Cet équipement permet donc de convertir les flotteurs de planche à voile en vélo-nautique Le systhème de direction est composé d'un guidon de vélo relié à une potence laquelle est monté sur un tube lequel passe au travers du flotteur et fait tourner un aileron directement sous le flotteur. Le systhème de propultion est composé d'une structure indépendante laquelle maintien les composantes mécanique, le banc et le pédalier en place. Ce systhème peut être fixé sur un flotteur par l'entremise de courroies ou d'attaches mécaniques. Le systhème de propultion est caractérisé par un egrenage droit directement montée à l'arbre de pédalier lequel actionne un arbre flexible qui fera tournée l'hélice située à l'arrière du flotteur. Le systhème de direction par l'entremise de cables ou autre mécanismes, peut faire tourner directement l'hélice sur un axe vertical de facon a avoir un maximum de manoeuvrabilité.
