ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nonmagnatic steel material including an antirusting and/or electrically insulating coating layer, preferably of a synthetic resin, on the surface of a descaled nonmagnetic steel. Such a steel material i unable to rust, and can therefore prevent a rise in magnetic permeability in the steel even after a long period of use and is also perfectly electrically insulated.
