SURFACE HEATER AND DRYER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A surface heater and dryer includes a housing having a skirt for concentrating heat over a large area of the surface and contains a heater and blower for forcing super heated air onto the surface. Mounting structure is connected to the housing for supporting the heater and dryer on a suitable vehicle and adjustments are provided to adjust the position of the heater and dryer to com- pensate for weight changes and surface variations. Con- trols are also provided to regulate the temperature and amount of air discharged from the skirt for use of the heater and dryer for diverse purposes requiring different temperatures, and a hot air recirculator and fuel vaporizer are provided with vanes arranged to control the same to further regulate the heat output of the heater and dryer. Also provided is an arrangement of multiple heater and dryer units and accompanying controls for effecting treatment of a correspondingly large surface area. - 1 -
