A surface-treated aluminum material comprising an aluminum or aluminum alloy substrate, a chromate film deposited on the substrate, and an organic resin mixture film deposited on the chromate film is provided. The chromate film is deposited to a coating weight of from 5 to 100 mg/m2 calculated in terms of elementary chromium on the aluminum substrate. The organic resin mixture film is deposited to a dry film thickness of from 0.05 to 3.0 µm, and comprises (a) 100 parts by weight of an organic resin, (b) 0.5 to 40 parts by weight of a powder lubricant having an average particle size of from 0.05 to 20 µm, said average particle size being in the range of from 1.0 to 10 folds of the dry film thickness, and (c) 1.0 to 40 parts by weight of electroconductive finely divided particles having an average particle size in the range of from 0.05 to 5 µm, said average particle size being in the range of from 1.0 to 2 folds of the dry film thickness. The organic surface-treated aluminum material has remarkable weldability, workability as well as corrosion resistance.

Matériau en aluminium à surface traitée comprenant un substrat en aluminium ou en alliage d'aluminium, une pellicule de chromate déposée sur le substrat et une pellicule constituée d'un mélange de résine organique. La pellicule de chromate déposée représente un poids variant de 5 à 100 mg/m2 calculé en chrome élémentaire sur le substrat d'aluminium. Le mélange de résine organique est déposé en pellicule à l'état sec d'une épaisseur variant de 0,05 à 3,0µm, et comporte (a) 100 parties en poids d'une résine organique, (b) de 0,5 à 40 parties en poids d'un lubrifiant en poudre ayant une granulométrie moyenne se situant entre 0,05 à 20µm, ladite granulométrie moyenne représentant de 1,0 à 10 fois l'épaisseur de la pellicule sèche, et (c) de 1,0 à 40 parties en poids de particules électroconductrices finement divisées ayant une granulométrie moyenne se situant entre 0,05 et 5µm, ladite granulométrie moyenne représentant de 1,0 à 2 fois l'épaisseur de la pellicule sèche. Le matériau en aluminium à surface traitée avec une matière organique possède des caractéristiques remarquables de soudabilité, de maniabilité et de résistance à la corrosion.
