The present invention relates to security paper (1) formed from base paper provided with a surface treatment layer on at least one side of the paper, characterized in that the layer thickness locally deviates markedly from the layer (10) thickness of the remaining dominant paper surface, and in that the local deviation forms a distinctive mark (2) in the paper. The present invention also relates to a method and to a device for producing surface treated security paper.
Cette invention porte sur un papier de sécurité (1) produit à partir d'un papier de base pourvu d'une couche de traitement de surface sur au moins l'un de ses cotés et présentant cette particularité que d'une part, l'épaisseur de cette couche diffère localement de façon notable de l'épaisseur de la couche (10) de la surface de papier restante qui prédomine et que d'autre part, cette différence localisée forme une marque distinctive (2) dans le papier. Cette invention porte également sur un procédé et sur le dispositif correspondant permettant de produire un papier de sécurité traité en surface.
