The present invention provides a surface-treated tin-plated steel sheet which comprises (1) an alloy layer on a surface of a steel sheet; (2) a tin-plated layer which is provided on the alloy layer so that the alloy layer is exposed at an areal rate of 3.0% or more; and (3) a film comprising P and Si as coating weight of 0.5 to 100 mg/m2 and 0.1 to 250 mg/m2, respectively, provided on the exposed portions of the alloy layer and the tin-plated layer. In addition, a chemical conversion solution which contains phosphate ions, tin ions, and a silane coupling agent and which has a pH of 1.5 to 5.5 is also provided for obtaining the surface treated steel sheet described above. The surface-treated tin-plated steel sheet of the present invention has superior paint-adhesion characteristics, corrosion resistance after coating, antirust properties, and workability without containing chromium which is unfavorable in environmental conservation.
La présente invention concerne une tôle d'acier étamée par traitement de surface qui comporte (1) une couche d'alliage formée sur la surface d'une tôle d'acier, (2) une couche de plaquage d'étain formée sur ladite couche d'alliage avec une partie restant dégagée de la couche d'alliage représentant une superficie d'au moins 3,0% de celle de ladite couche d'alliage, et formé sur ladite couche de plaquage à l'étain et ladite partie dégagée de la couche d'alliage (3) un film de couche contenant du P et du Si en une quantité de 0,5 à 100 mg/m<2> et 0,1 à 250 mg/m<2> respectivement. L'invention concerne également une solution de traitement chimique destinée à la préparation de la tôle d'acier qui comprend un ion phosphate, un ion étain et un agent de couplage au silane et présente un pH de 1,5 à 5,5. Cette tôle d'acier étamée par traitement de surface est exempte de chrome nocif pour l'environnement, tout en présentant d'excellentes qualités d'adhésion de la peinture, de résistance à la corrosion après revêtement, de résistance à la rouille, et de formabilité.
