A surface treating agent for an aluminum line pattern substrate is disclosed, comprising an aqueous solution containing 0.01 to 15% by weight of quaternary ammonium hydroxide represented by the general formula: (see fig. I) wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or a hydroxy-substituted alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R1, R2 and R3 are independently an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and 0.1 to 20% by weight of sugar or sugar alcohol. This agent can inhibit the after-corrosion of aluminum effectively.

La divulgation concerne un agent de traitement en surface pour un motif de ligne en aluminium, à base d'une solution aqueuse contenant 0,01 à 15 % en poids d'un hydroxyde d'ammonium quaternaire - représenté par la formule générale (voir fig. I), où R est un groupe alkyle de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone avec ou sans substitution par un hydroxy, et R1, R2 et R3 sont chacun indépendamment un groupe alkyle de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone -, et 0,1 à 20 % en poids d'un sucre ou d'un itol. Cet agent peut empêcher efficacement la post-corrosion de l'aluminium.
