IMPROVED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT FOR SUTURING TISSUES AND ORGANS ABSTRACT The invention relates to surgical instruments used for suturing or stapling tissues and organs with at least one line of staples. The instrument comprises a supporting jaw to be located on one side of the tissue or organ to be sutured. A working face is also provided and is locatable on the opposite side of the tissue or organ to be sutured.
