The invention relates to a surgical procedure device, comprising a surgical instrument (1) capable of passing through human or animal tissues and a system comprising passive components capable of measuring a local stress or deformation of the instrument and/or active components capable of applying a local stress to the instrument, said system comprising at least two series (20, 21) of passive components arranged at the surface of the instrument in such a way as to establish a one-to-one relationship between the position of the instrument or the position of the distal end of the instrument and all the data derived from said series, and, as appropriate, at least two series (30, 31) of active components (3) arranged at the surface of the instrument. The invention also relates to a method for determining the position of the distal end of a surgical instrument capable of passing through human or animal tissues.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'intervention chirurgicale, comprenant un instrument chirurgical (1) apte à traverser des tissus humains ou animaux et un système comprenant des composants dits passifs aptes à mesurer une déformation ou une contrainte locale de l'instrument et/ou des composants dits actifs aptes à imposer une contrainte locale à l'instrument, ledit système comprenant au moins deux séries (20, 21) de composants passifs agencés à la surface de l'instrument de manière à établir une relation biunivoque entre la position de l'instrument ou la position de l'extrémité distale de l'instrument et l'ensemble des données issues des dites séries, et, le cas échéant, au moins deux séries (30, 31) de composants actifs (3) agencés à la surface de l'instrument. L'invention concerne également un procédé de détermination de la position de l'extrémité distale d'un instrument chirurgical apte à traverser des tissus humains ou animaux.
