A suture insertion device is provided for positioning a su-ture inside a layer of subcutaneous tissue from a remote access point. A tether insertion device is provided for positioning a tether within subcuta- neous tissue for operating on the suture from a remote access point. The suture insertion device and the tether insertion device cooperate to form the suture into a tissue-supporting sling useful for performing various sur- gical procedures, including but not limited to plastic surgery such as mid face lifts, neck lifts, brow lifts, under eye lifts, breast lifts, and organ repo-sitioning.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mise en place de sutures permettant de positionner une suture à l'intérieur d'une couche de tissu sous-cutané à partir d'un point d'accès éloigné. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de mise en place d'attaches permettant de positionner une attache à l'intérieur d'un tissu sous-cutané et la faire coopérer avec ladite suture depuis un point d'accès éloigné. Le dispositif de mise en place de sutures et le dispositif de mise en place d'attaches coopèrent pour faire de la suture un anneau de support tissulaire utilisable dans le cadre de la mise en uvre de diverses procédures chirurgicales dont, mais la liste n'est pas limitative, des interventions de chirurgie plastique comme les liftings médiofaciaux, les liftings du cou, les liftings frontaux, les liftings des paupières inférieures, les liftings des seins et le repositionnement des organes.
