The surgical targeting system (1) provides a series of coordinates/lines (21) within a sheet (9) of sterile, flexible material with an adherent surface (11) which is applied to the skin (6) (after suitable surgical application). The sheet (9) is non-porous and may have a topical antiseptic on the side (11) which is applied to the skin (6). A fluoroscope or roentgenographic image (3) of the portion of the body (4) to which the adherent film (9) is applied will show the underlying skeletal and radiopaque elements as well as the overlying surgical grid (21). Once the sheet (9) is applied, the coordinates on the grid lines (21) are clearly visible on the surface of the skin (6) as well as on the fluoroscopic or radiographic image (3) and by knowing the direction of the fluoroscopic or radiographic beam, the operator will be able to thereby correlate a specific locus on the skin (6) with an underlying skeletal element or other underlying radiopaque structure.
Le système (1) de repérage chirurgical selon l'invention utilise une série de coordonnées/lignes intégrée dans une feuille (9) de matériau stérile et souple comportant une surface adhérente (11) qui est appliquée sur la peau (6) (après une application chirurgicale appropriée). La feuille (9) est non poreuse et peut comporter un antiseptique topique situé sur le côté (11) qui est appliqué sur la peau (6). Une image (3) fluoroscopique ou radioscopique de la zone du corps (4) sur laquelle le film adhérent (9) est appliqué fait apparaître les éléments du squelette et radio-opaques sous-jacents ainsi que la trame (21) chirurgicale sus-jacente. Dès lors que la feuille (9) est appliquée, les coordonnées présentes sur les lignes (21) de la trame sont clairement visibles sur la surface de la peau (6) ainsi que sur l'image (3) fluoroscopique ou radiographique et l'exécutant qui connaît la direction du faisceau fluoroscopique ou radiographique peut alors établir une corrélation entre un site spécifique sur la peau (6) et un élément du squelette sous-jacent ou une autre structure radio-opaque sous-jacente.
