- 13 - SURROUND KIT FOR LEAFCUTTER BEE NEST BLOCKS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A surround kit is used for assembling a bee nest having a nest in the form of a perforate block and a fiber board backing sheet. The surround kit includes angles that extend along edges of the backing sheet and overlap the junction between the backing sheet back face and the nest. The nest assembly is held together using flexible strapping wrapped around the nest the backing sheet and the angles, and fastened under tension. The front edges of the nest may be protected using short angles under the strapping. Multiple straps may be used according to the size of the nest to be assembled.
